About us

Interactive Design and Construction Namibia is run by Gerson Mangundu, a structural engineer. Every structure we design is engineered, not only drawn: foundations sized for the loads and the soil, first-floor slabs, beams and lintels designed to SANS 10160 and SANS 10100-1, and roofs tied down for Namibian wind.

We design every house as a complete building model. Structure, roof, plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, security and finishes are drawn together, so nothing is left for the builder to guess. The same model produces the 3D views on this site and the drawings we issue.

Adapted to your erf

Before we issue drawings, we place the house on your erf, add your details and the site information, and prepare the set for submission to your local authority. Drawings are prepared to SANS 10400 and local authority requirements.
